Our Process
We work around your schedule so that you can get back to living your life as soon as possible. Once we receive a request, we’ll evaluate your unique situation and set up an appointment with you. During that time, we will perform a free inspection of your home or office, answer any questions you have about our products and services, and make suggestions based on your budget.
Our History
Steve Cooney Flooring is a family run business, our family has been working in flooring for 3-generations, starting with my Father Denis Cooney - the king of the Cooney family. He successfully ran several flooring businesses spanning over 60-years, including Layfix Ltd. As a child, I always loved watching my dad work, he was passionate in his work to the end. As a teen I would spend weekends working in his flooring shop. As I got older, we began doing projects together. I began working for my dad full-time after leaving school - this was my first job and only job. It was a very rewarding experience. I live each day, and complete each project to make my dad proud.
My son Shaun soon followed suit, following in my footsteps he too began early. Shaun began learning the trade whilst still at school, helping out during school holidays. After leaving school Shaun began working in the family business full-time and has learn't all the same skills, knowledge and passion that makes Steve Cooney Flooring different from the rest.
